Commencement

Rich graduated on May 1st, and somehow, it is slightly appropriate that we were all screaming, "Mayday! Mayday!"

This is it - the commencement of our lives! We toiled (and ^maybe^ procrastinated for almost a decade) and now....

....it is time....

Here comes THE REAL WORLD and THE BIG TRIP (not in that order). WOOOO! Isn't everyone just as elated as I am?! *slight sarcasm* If you do not know by now, I am not one for change -- unless it is by my random doing and no one else is in the position to stop me. I must say, this is not one of those times, and thus, I (and our two trailhounds) are along for the rides of our lives. oh yay.

Thus, to celebrate this transition into our new "existence[s]", I am starting this blog so you can follow us on our [mis]adventures around the country before our final landing as far west as our cars can take us. That's right, good ole' Cal-i-forn-I-A.

If you have any suggestions (or dire warnings) about this move, and care to be so kind as to share them with us... it would be much appreciated.

Otherwise, if you are a smart-alec and want to watch us 'suffer' through trial and error -- well, read on.

No hard feelings either way.... really.
